My stay at Il Castello was absolutely amazing! The hotel is situated in a charming old medieval town with breathtaking views of the valley. The owner, Alfred, was a delight and his musical talents added to the enchanting atmosphere. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a variety of cheeses, meats, bread, and fresh apricots. The peaceful and tranquil ambiance of the hotel allowed me to truly relax and recharge. I can't wait to return to this hidden paradise! I highly recommend Il Castello for a unique and rejuvenating getaway.

Great location with fabulous views. The room was large and nicely furnished. The staff could not have been better - from housekeeping to kitchen and breakfast room, bar and fine dining - they seemed to really care about this special place.
Waited in reception for half an hour after travelling all day and getting soaked in the storm. The room had some issues, such as mosquito problems and a leaky shower.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with its historical and unique atmosphere. The general areas, such as the beautiful garden and the terrace, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, making it easy for me to move around and explore the stunning Tuscan hills.
I would have asked for a better vacation if the children working there were more attentive and considerate towards senior guests.

I stayed at Hotel Il Castello for two nights and it was a fantastic experience. The typical Italian breakfast offered a variety of healthy options and catered to different food preferences and allergies. Alfred, the owner and host, was always available and made our stay memorable with his music and helpfulness. The staff was excellent, from housekeeping to the fine dining restaurant, and they truly cared about the hotel. The outdoor terraces offered breathtaking views of Toscana and the evenings were magical with enticing aromas from the kitchen. The wild tortoises that shared the hotel's space added a unique touch to our stay.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The medieval town and the breathtaking views from my window left me in awe. The owner, Alfred, was not only a gracious host but also a talented musician who added a magical touch to my days there. The daily breakfast with cappuccino, cheese, meat, and bread was just perfect for me. It was the ideal place to unwind and recharge my weary soul. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
